Joint Sangha Event: Mushim Ikeda Sensei in conjunction with the Zen West/Empty Field Sangha and Shin Buddhist priest Mark Unno. 

We are honored to welcome to the community guest teacher Mushim Patricia Ikeda. Mushim teaches at the East Bay Meditation Center in Oakland, CA. She is a long time socially-engaged Buddhist leader, mindfulness meditation teacher, social justice activist, author, poet, and diversity and inclusion facilitator. We look forward to hearing from Mushim on how to meet the distress of our times - the widespread injustice, overwhelming grief of war alongside increasing political polarization. Event includes meditation and dharma talk by Mushim, followed by lunch.
