Zen teachings can often seem contradictory or impenetrable, leaving us wondering how to step out and enact them in our lives. How are we supposed to “think not thinking”? What does it mean to vow to free all beings when we can’t even seem to take care of our neighbors? How can we live out “the dharma gate of joyful ease” in the face of great suffering? As we head into Buddha Eye Temple’s Spring practice term, let’s explore how to step out on the Buddha Way with our own two feet.
