Buddha Eye’s Annual Yard and Online Sale is on again this year!

This is Buddha Eye’s biggest fundraiser of the year. Last year the yard sale and online sales raised more than $20,000. This year we hope to raise that much (or more!) again. To meet this goal, we need (lots of!) quality items in good
condition.

Online Sale Starts June 2nd
We are asking for quality items that our experienced online sales team can sell on line for a minimum of $100 on Craigslist, NextDoor; Ebay; or Facebook Marketplace. We know from past sales that we can sell: quality crafts; furniture; rugs; appliances; tools; outdoor gear; exercise equipment; and vehicles. If you have an item you would like to donate for online sales, please contact the office at: yardsale@buddhaeye.org

Yard Sale runs Saturday and Sunday, June 22nd & 23rd
When considering donation goods, items that sell well include: furniture; household goods; designer clothing; outdoor gear; exercise equipment; tools and books. Please ensure that all donation items are clean and in good working order. Clothing donations are limited to 20 items per household. Please, no outdated electronics, downhill ski equipment, torn or stained clothes, or undergarments of any kind!

Volunteer Opportunities
Many hands are needed for a successful yard sale, and it is a great time too! Please click on this link for opportunities to help with set-up, take-down, sale staffing, and pricing. Buddha Eye Temple Annual Yard Sale! 

June 22nd & 23rd, 2024

Hi!

I'm helping to organize a massive yard sale and fundraiser for the Buddha Eye Temple, a Zen Buddhist community at 22nd and Garfield in Eugene. We are a community temple that has  wonderful programs that are offered at no charge. Most recently there have been programs in sobriety support, introduction to meditation, Buddhism and ecology, Buddhist ethical practice, and death and dying. There are also meditation retreats and support for those wishing to study a Buddhist text with guidance from a teacher.

We are asking for donations of gently used items for the general fundraiser that will be held on June 22nd and 23rd. It’s a tradition of the past 12 years to have this wonderful sale and to ask folks to let go of old things to make room for the new! We’ll accept donations at the temple starting on Sunday June 9th until Wednesday June 19th. We'll accept donations at the temple from 1:30 until 7:00 pm. We ask that they be in good working order (sellable), and clean. If you’re unsure about what we’ll accept, feel free to call me at
