Dear Friends,
Buddha Eye’s Annual Yard Sale is happening soon! The sale will take place on July 17th and 18th.
The yard sale is one of Buddha Eye’s most important fundraisers. We need (lots of!) donated items in good condition to make the yard sale a success. Now is the time to clear out items that you no longer need. Please also ask your friends, neighbors and nearby family if they have gently used items that they’d be willing to donate. This kind of outreach helps us substantially increase our sale proceeds.
You can bring higher value items ($100 or more) to the temple beginning Saturday, July 3rd from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Volunteers will sell those items online.
All other donations can be dropped off at the temple beginning Sunday, July 11th. (See drop-off schedule below.)
If possible, please help our volunteers by pricing as many of your donation items as possible before dropping them off. Pricing guidelines to help you price your items are linked here. If you are unsure of how to price an item, or if you just don’t have the time, no worries, yard sale volunteers will be happy to help.
Lots of volunteers are also needed for a successful sale. Help is needed with pricing and organizing donations, Friday evening setup, and staffing the sale on Saturday and Sunday. You can signup using this link: You can also signup in person at the temple. Volunteering for the yard sale is fun and it builds community!
