Buddha Eye Ecodharma group will be leading a Community Circle focused on Ferris Jabr’s book Becoming Earth. The book is a breath-taking and inspiring review of the earth science coming together in the last three decades supporting the Gaia hypothesis: that is, that it makes scientific sense to consider the earth as one integrated, interpenetrated, living system: rocks, plants, people, rain, plankton, all living and non-living beings. These developments in earth science make for a wonderful opportunity to deepen our understanding of our place in the living world, and to deepen our Zen Buddhist practice.
